The first of many such happy matches was announced recently, with Sting and his wife Trudie Styler confirming that they will be among future residents of the redeveloped site.

Apartments and business spaces in the hotly anticipated rebirth of one of London’s most recognisable landmarks are sure to attract more famous individuals and brands. The group behind the redevelopment has taken the project on a worldwide tour, visiting 13 cities in 11 countries. One event in Hollywood was fronted by Kate Beckinsale and attended by a glittering roster of celebrities and business figures.

It cannot be guaranteed that the Power Station community will actually include a Police reunion. But the prospect of the great and the good snapping up opportunities to acquire homes seems sure to stoke a more general appetite for properties in the development.
