Dumont

Welcome to Dumont

London style meets Manhattan cool at this arty mixed-use development on the banks of The Thames

Sitting on the Albert Embankment opposite Tate Britain, The Dumont has been cleverly orientated to take in the best view of the city including The London Eye and The Houses of Parliament.

The Development

The previous 1960s office building has been completely revamped by international architectural firm David Walker Architects. The Dumont, which is named after the highly collectable work of Royal Doulton, which was once based in the area, comprises 162 luxury suites and 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as retail space, office space and a café on the lower floor.

The elegant 30-storey building has four elements of varying heights and orientations, giving residents spectacular river views from the double height frames. While the exterior palette is a modern interpretation of classic monochrome with warm grey and white alongside softened black.

The interiors have been created by Spinocchia Freund, known for its boutique luxury interiors. As a result, the interiors at The Dumont are a fusion of New York and London: timeless, stylish and luxurious including a lobby entrance that feels like a private members’ club. Mixed metals, sleek glass and soft interior finishes create a stylish but comfortable look and feel.

With its outstanding location, there’s much to see and do nearby. But if you don’t want to venture out there are plenty of onsite facilities to enjoy including exclusive bars and dining spaces, ten site pin bowling and a cinema.
