Embassy Gardens
Property Details
A swimming pool in the sky, a Linear Park and landscaped public spaces are all part of this sought-after urban environment

Situated in the centre of Nine Elms, with the impressive US Embassy building as a backdrop, the ground-breaking Embassy Gardens scheme includes 1750 new homes alongside retail units, offices and flexible working spaces.

The Development

Designed by award-winning architects HAL, Embassy Garden is a 15-acre site consisting of nine buildings of various architectural styles and sizes surrounded by landscaped public squares and gardens.

But it’s the Sky Pool that Embassy Gardens is most famous for. Linking two of the apartment blocks 10 storeys up, the 25-metre-long acrylic pool allows residents to look down on to the American Embassy and enjoy breath-taking views of London as they swim across the 14m divide between the buildings. It’s a world first in swimming pool design. The sky deck at the top of the two buildings also incorporates a spa, summer bar and orangery.

The architectural scheme is distinctive and takes its inspiration from New York’s meatpacking district with floor to ceiling windows and brick facades. And the comparison doesn’t stop there. A feature of the Embassy Gardens project is the Linear Park, which stretches from Vauxhall Bridge to Battersea Power Station and is inspired by the Big Apple’s High Line. The Linear Park forms the spine of the Nine Elms development and gives Londoners riverfront walking space with access to the Thames.

The apartments, designed by interior designers Luis Bustamante and Benningen Lloyd feature open plan designs, tall ceilings, large windows, oak parquet flooring, cleverly designed kitchens with light-coloured oak, marble and black granite, and marbled bathrooms. They also feature thermostatically controlled comfort cooling and heating.

All apartments have balconies or winter gardens, so you can enjoy stunning riverside views all year round.

Further afield, the Houses of Parliament are a 30-minute walk across the river via Lambeth Bridge. While Kensington and Chelsea and the popular South Bank are a quick 15-minute cab ride away.
